The Kenwood NXR-1700/1800 Repeater Radio is a compact, multi-mode conventional repeater. As a robust successor to the highly regarded DMR and NXDN repeaters such as the TKR-D710/D810 and NXR-710/810, this repeater delivers outstanding features and performance. The digital protocol can be selected at the time of purchase, allowing for configuration as either DMR or NXDN, with the option to maintain the factory default FM analog setting.
The large OLED display on the front panel shows important information such as MAC/IP Address, RSSI/TX Power Setting Icon, Channel Number/Name, RF Frequency, and Firmware/ESN/License/Error statuses.
The NXR-1700/1800 offers a significantly reduced volumetric capacity, requiring only a quarter of the rack space compared to older models like the NXR-710/810 and TKR-D710/D810, and occupying just half the space of other 1U repeaters.
