Crucially, it is intrinsically-safe certified (ANSI/TIA4950 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 157-92) for use in hazardous environments, including Class I, II, III, Division 1, Groups C, D, E, F, G, and Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D when ordered as an option with the R5 radio.
