Staff update:
Time flies when you are having fun! Of course, fun means different things to every one of us. Nevertheless, my promise to everyone that comes to work at D2N is that no two days are the same and that you will get to work on a diverse set of projects. Being a small company of only eight employee’s it is super important to recruit people who are the right fit in terms of personality, desire for excellence and a willingness to learn.
Just over one year ago John Craig came to work for us as our Warehouse & Rentals Manager. This would be Johns first role in a business and industry like ours. With a strong engineering background and great attitude, John came on board and has not taken a backward step. He has taken on a huge amount of responsibility for the staff challenges we had last year. He had a steep learning curve on kit he had never seen before.
A year on (I can’t believe it has gone that fast) he is at the centre of our business for which I am eternally grateful. Thanks for everything John, I see nothing but a bright future for you.
Reach him at john.craig@d2n.com.au

Sales of AIDA and Kiloview are quite strong with Systems Integrators, with reseller pricing available on the entire AIDA range. We are also seeing growth the FDP range of cost effective two way radios. At approx. $210 per radio with a 5 year warranty and IP67 rating they are proving popular with the retail market and entry level Motorsports.
MD’s report:
As mentioned at the start of the newsletter, our staff are the core of our business, and over the Xmas break two of our team have had some extraordinarily challenging times dealing with health issues. The good news is that both are well on the mend and returning to work over the coming weeks. I feel blessed to have such a great team to ride the wave of business ownership with.
The coming months will see us exhibit at metExpo, I will travel to NAB in Las Vegas and then onto China to visit our partners there. Hopefully not too much more international travel this year..
At home it is equally a huge year with my son working towards his HSC and turning 18 with my step-daughter also turning 16. More grey hair for Kim and I 😊
As always thank you to everyone who supports us. Running your own business is incredibly challenging 24/7 and it is only the people you surround yourself with that helps you push forward.
Special shout out to Natalie Craig (John’s wife and owner of Petrol Threads) who has been slaving away on our Salesforce & Store Connect project. My RFS family who give me an outlet away from work and the small army of brands who go above and beyond.
Thank you!
Jason Owen
