The Calrec Apex M6 delivers powerful audio interfacing, format conversion, signal routing and network edge connectivity in a compact 1RU form factor. Designed for modern broadcast, live production and IP migration projects, Apex M6 provides a versatile platform for connecting virtually any professional audio environment.
Supporting ST 2110-30, AES67, Dante, MADI, SDI, Waves SoundGrid, AES3 and analogue audio formats, the Apex M6 simplifies interoperability between legacy and IP-based systems. Built-in MADI connectivity, flexible internal routing and support for up to six modular I/O cards allow broadcasters and production facilities to deploy connectivity exactly where it is needed.
Apex M6 functions as both a modular I/O frame and a standalone format converter, enabling seamless audio transport and conversion without requiring external routing infrastructure. Native NMOS support ensures compatibility with multi-vendor IP ecosystems and virtualised production environments.
Whether deployed in broadcast facilities, flypacks, remote productions or temporary event infrastructure, Apex M6 provides a cost-effective path to IP while protecting existing infrastructure investments.
