The ICOM AH-41 Antenna is a cutting-edge solution tailored for seamless indoor satellite communications. It efficiently covers both Iridium® satellite frequencies and GNSS L1 band frequencies. For optimal installation, users can utilize the optional OPC-2462 coaxial cable measuring 59 m (193.5 ft) or opt for a user-supplied coaxial cable up to a length of 169 m (554.5 ft) to ensure a clear line-of-sight to the satellite. One of its standout features is the Power over Coaxial (PoC) technology, which allows the antenna to draw electrical power directly through the coaxial cable, reducing the need for additional power cabling. The antenna is also designed with separate TX and RX units, with the TX unit integrated with a Power Amplifier and the RX unit equipped with a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) for enhanced signal reception. Built for durability, the main unit boasts IP67 protection, making it waterproof and dust-tight, ideal for outdoor installations.
