Ahh the festive season is upon us, and after such a busy work packed year, all of us (and hopefully all of you) are looking forward to not touching our emails for a couple of weeks 😅 But seriously, this newsletter won’t be a long one, but just a chance for you to reflect with us on 2023.
This year has presented its share of challenges, but your unwavering support has been a source of inspiration and motivation for us. We are dedicated to continually enhancing our offerings and providing you with the best possible experience.
And even with the challenges we have faced, the triumphs have exceedingly overruled them, and we are so proud of the work we have put out this year.
As we approach the new year, we look forward to serving you even better, bringing you more innovative solutions, and fostering a stronger bond with each of our valued customers. May this Christmas season bring you peace, joy, and prosperity, and may the coming year be filled with success and happiness.

Staff update:
We would like to introduce our new staff member Phil Goulden! He will be our Business Development Manager. With over forty years of experience in Broadcast Television across the globe, Phil has worked on just about every project you can imagine, including the Olympics, FIFA World Cups, AFL, NRL, Survivor, Big Brother and much more. A highly motivated television professional and team leader working across all production environments specialising in technical operations management, both domestically and internationally. With a solid engineering base and eye for production, Phil brings a wealth of experience to D2N

Product Update:
PunQtum adds mobile phone users to Q210 panel!
The Q210 PW Speaker Station by punQtum empowers you with complete control in an affordable, user-friendly package. Crafted to seamlessly integrate with the punQtum Wireless app, this station serves as a comprehensive hub for both wired and wireless communication.
By connecting punQtum Wireless to a punQtum network through a Wi-Fi access point and the Q210 PW speaker station, you unlock a host of features. This station accommodates up to 4 connections to punQtum Wireless Apps, boasting 4-channel communication and programmable buttons. These buttons enable functionalities such as muting all microphones, making paging announcements, or triggering logic outputs. Additionally, the station is equipped with a network switch featuring 4 ports, two of which are PoE powered, capable of driving up to 4 wired beltpacks each.

AIDA has released a range of firmware updates for their cameras including;
PTZ-NDI3-X20, NDI-POV Series (Cube, Mini, IP67, VF), NDI3-POV Series, PTZ4K-NDI-X12, PTZ4K-NDI-X30
Kiloview has also released some firmware updates with the E3 and N60 devices.
Sales Update:
By far the biggest challenge this year has been stock availability. As we move into 2024 I watch with hope that manufacturers can return to somewhere near where we were prior to Covid. We sit on approximately 25-30 projects constantly waiting for stock so please where you can plan ahead with your purchasing.
We have also undertaken a large Salesforce and StoreConnect project this year which I am hoping will go live over the break. This will provide customers with live stock holdings so when orders are placed they are certain of what is on the shelf.
For next year we are investigating the local tradeshows to see where we see value in exhibiting. Stay tuned for more info….
Rentals Update:
Christmas time is maintenance time! Typically it slows down for us around the second week of December and comes back around the second or third week of January. During this time we do repairs, firmware updates etc so we are fire engine-ready for 2024.
Next year we will be adding FreeSpeak Edge, more radios and Bolero to our fleet. We look forward to working with all of our Rental customers again in 24!

Congratulations to Erebus Motorsport who have taken out both the Drivers and Teams Championship.

MD’s report:
Honestly, I can’t wait to stop down for three weeks over Xmas and the New Year. My whiteboard in my office already has six large projects for 2024, which will provide some great momentum at the halfway point on F24. For Kim and I we live and breathe D2N so as a family, it’s time for us to swim, eat, drink (not too much) and recharge ready for next year. The future is bright!
