June Newsletter 2023

It’s a bit daunting realising we have hit the halfway point already. But also exciting with all the amazing projects we have lined up for the next 6 months. And as we are slowly starting to announce them, they are creeping up on us faster than ever!

We have started up a YouTube channel! This has been an idea that has been floating around our team for a while, and we have finally caved in. The content that you will be able to access will range from to “how to” videos, travel videos, and you will be able to meet our small team and get a deep look into the inner workings of the business. Mackenzie will be taking on this task and is so excited to be able to experiment with content for the brand! You can subscribe to our channel on the link below 😊

Overall, this year is flying by, and as we come into the winter months, remember to stay healthy and warm! And as always, thank you all for your continuous support. We wouldn’t be here without you.

From the D2N family 🙂 – June 2023

We wanted to use this Newsletter to put a spotlight on one of our directors Kim Kelly. She is the backbone of this business, and nothing would get done without her endless support and hard work. We are all so thankful for you Kim, so thank you for being such an amazing friend and Co-worker 🙂

She can be contacted via kim.kelly@d2n.com.au

Brand Update:

Hytera conference
Jason Owen our Managing Director travelled to Bali to attend the Hytera Global Partner conference. The top dealers from around the world came together to learn about future products, market trends and the future of Hytera.

Sales Update:

Sales of Kiloview and AIDA have almost doubled across the board this quarter, Hytera, Kenwood and Calrec are also delivering consistent results for both new and existing customers. Supply chain is still our biggest limitation to meeting customers’ demands resulting in several customers changing brands simply to get their hands on kit.

Universities have taken up most of the Rf over Fibre sales this quarter with systems up to 40GHz being deployed in various applications across that sector.

MD’s report:

2023 has quite a lot of travel for me with Bali, Europe, the South Pacific and a few laps around the country to keep things moving. As we settle into the fifth year of full time D2N I have seen FY23 as a time to take stock and build on a platform for the next five years. Growth is one thing, but sustainable and profitable growth is another. As a business owner I have a responsibility to my staff, customers and partners to not just deliver great results, but to create an environment where everyone can flourish and build a sustainable future.

I suspect Xmas will come around quite quickly this year so much travel planned. I do have to remember to stop and smell the roses every now and again..

Thank you!
